In-vitro Fertilization  (IVF)

For a women egg to be fertilized by the man's sperm. The sperm should attach to the outside layer of the egg. After the sperm is attached to the outer layer of the egg, it shall push inside the egg to the cytoplasm; where the fertilization occurs. 

In traditional IVF; sperms are placed next to the egg in a  laboratory dish. Fertilization occurs when one of the sperm enters  into the cytoplasm of the egg. 

Sperm Donation

Sperm donation is a procedure  to help an individual or a couple conceive a baby. Donated sperm can be injected into a woman's reproductive organs (intrauterine insemination) or used to fertilize mature eggs in a lab (in vitro fertilization). A man who makes a sperm donation can be known or anonymous to the recipient.

Intra-cytoplasmic Sperm Injection (ICSI)

Intrauterine Insemination (IUI)

Intrauterine insemination (IUI) is an artificial insemination used to treat infertility.  IUI works by putting sperm cells Sperm that have been washed directly into your uterus around the time you’re ovulating, helping the sperm get closer to your egg. 

Embryo Testing

PGD is commonly known as PGT-M or preimplantation genetic testing for monogenic diseases. If a couple has a known genetic disease in their family which is caused by a specific single gene mutation, they can consider preimplantation genetic diagnosis or PGD to test each embryo
